AI agents for document and claims processing
An Aether document agent reads incoming claims, applications and forms in whatever format they arrive, pulls out the details you need, checks them against your rules and files a clean record. Anything incomplete or outside policy goes to a reviewer with the reason.
Sound familiar?
Every document looks different
PDFs, scans, spreadsheets and email attachments all have to end up as the same record.
Re-keying eats the day
Skilled people spend hours copying details from documents into systems.
The rules live in people's heads
Limits, required fields and approval routes vary by product and change often.
How a document becomes a record
A document arrives
By upload, by email, or picked up on a schedule from the system that receives it.
The agent reads it
PDFs, spreadsheets, forms, scans and plain text.
It builds the record
The details you need, in the exact fields your systems expect.
It checks your rules
Limits, required fields, and anything that should send the case for review.
It files or flags
Clean records go into your system; the rest go to a reviewer with the reason.
What you see and control
The agent sees only what it needs, and your team sees everything it does. It works with:
- Email and uploads
- PDF, Excel, CSV and scanned documents
- Your claims or records system
- Your portalCLiP
- Your team sees what was processed and what was sent for review.
- Your rulesCalibration
- Your limits, required fields and approval routes, for each product.
- The engineAiR
- Reads every format and records each decision it makes.
Questions
What file types can the agent read?
PDF, Excel, CSV, OpenDocument spreadsheets, HTML, JSON, calendar files, RTF and plain text, plus scans and images through AI models that read them directly. A file it can't read goes to a person instead of stopping the batch.
How accurate is it?
That depends on your documents, so measure it on a sample of yours before going live. Records that fail your checks are never filed quietly; they go to a reviewer.
Can each product have its own rules?
Yes. Each product or line of business keeps its own rules, and the agent applies the right set to every document.
